Cooking with Confidence

In July 2025 we ran a cooking class for Pulborough residents, who were feeling isolated and who wanted to learn how to cook easy meals. The course ran for 5 weeks and although we see it as a success, we couldn't continue with it for various reasons.

We have since teamed up with St. Mary's Primary School in Pulborough, where we are assisting with cooking classes for children as an after school activity. We are catching them, while they are young!

They are learning to prepare delicious dishes from scratch with guidance from our fun and enthusiastic volunteers. 

This course has been running since November 2025 at the school and the children and volunteers are having a marvellous time!

Currently they meet every Wednesday after school for an hour.

These courses are free and the food is all donated by Tesco Pulborough. Many thanks Tesco!
