Current Trustees

John Dixon (Chairman)

John is the Chairman of the PDCCA. He has worked for 50 years in social care, including as Director of Adults' and Children's Social Services in West Sussex. He set up the Adults Safeguarding Board for West Sussex in 2000 in response to the national report 'No Secrets'. Since retirement in 2017, he has been involved as a Trustee and Chair of several social care charities in West Sussex. He is particularly focussed on helping people with disabilities take control over their lives.

Roland Brook (Treasurer)

Roland is a PDCCA Trustee and Treasurer. He is a retired chartered accountant, previously an associate director in the Transaction Services team at Smith & Williamson (now Evelyn Partners), where he was responsible for financial modelling, having trained as an auditor. Roland was Chair of the Excel Community at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales over four years.

He enjoys table tennis, badminton and live music including playing the saxophone in the Petworth Town Band. He is the Treasurer of Petworth Sessions and the West Chiltington Jazz Club. He also has an allotment in West Chiltington.

Louise Kaiser (Secretary)

Louise is the Secretary and a Trustee of the PDCCA. She previously ran the lunch club for 6 years and also runs the Pulborough Village Market.

Louise is a peripatetic music teacher and caterer and in her spare time likes nothing better than relaxing on her hammock with a good book.

Edna Henly

Edna is a Trustee of the PDCCA. She has been involved with the charity for 35 years. She volunteered with the lunch club for many years, helping to serve lunch and with admin. She has also been on the committee since 2017.

Edna was a member of the Parish Council for 11 years and spent a period of time as Chairman of the Recreation Committee and was involved with the Pulborough Partnership.

Karen Brooks

Karen has lived in Pulborough since 2016. She is the Community Champion at Pulborough Tesco. She volunteers at the lunch and social club. She enjoys going to church, singing and dancing.

Isla Moran

Isla has lived in Pulborough since 2015. She was born and raised in South Africa, married an Englishman in 2013, has 2 children and is happily ensconced within the Pulborough community. She runs the Pop-In, is also a carer and she volunteers at the local primary school and with Community Transport.

She is a member of the Pulborough Stoolball team, enjoys a good book, loves to watch International rugby and tennis, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
