Julia Read
I was born somewhere in Kent and was adopted when I was 5, so I do what I can for Dr Barnardo's, although I was not in one of their homes.
I have worked as a managing agent for most of my working life, managing Leasehold and Freehold developments in the South East and beyond. For the first ten years, I worked for 2 Housing Associations and then started my own practice, which eventually had a staff of eight. I retired at the end of 2022.
I became a befriender for the PDCCA and then a trustee mid 2025. I also support children with severe autism and serious learning disabilities.
I am a friend of Pulborough Medical Group (PMG) which supports the practice with other friends.
I love keeping fit and visit a gym and swimming pool several times a week. I also love walking with friends.
