Christine Lindsay

Christine was a school teacher for 35 years in West London and in 2015 she moved to Pulborough so she could live in the countryside and enjoy the wildlife.

Serving the local community is very important to her and to this end, she is a volunteer at RSPB Pulborough Brooks, an active member of St. Mary’s Church in the village and she chairs the Pulborough Volunteers’ Community Forum. Since 2018, she has been the Co-ordinator of Pulborough Community Transport, a role which requires patience, empathy and very good organisational skills. It is an essential service for residents who are unable to drive and need to get to medical appointments.

She also enjoys local history, visiting country churches and promoting the local maternity roost of Soprano pipistrelle bats that live in the eaves at St. Mary’s Church.
