Mike Clenshaw (former co-ordinator) with our wheelchair accessible vehicle
Volunteer drivers use their own cars to help local people who may have difficulty in using public transport, to get to essential appointments such as hospital, doctors and dentists. We also have a wheelchair accessible vehicle enabling transportation of wheelchair users. This can also be made available for social purposes. A charge per mile is made to cover expenses. For people who may be on assisted pensions or other government help, travel costs may be refundable by the NHS.
A modest charge is made to cover expenses.
By arrangement for journeys within the Pulborough District and as far afield as all our local hospitals.
